Are Female Founders Being Overlooked for Choosing Profit Over Social Impact?

A recent article in Harvard Business Review (HBR) takes a closer at look the possible reason some woman owned businesses are funded over others. Having a solid business plan is always key. But what about the mission or social impact of the company?

According to HBR, “women entrepreneurs with social impact goals may actually benefit from talking about them freely.” However, the same may not be true for female founders who focus on the bottom line or simply developing a good product.
